Said Al-Mandhari has started his role as a CEO of Oman ICT Group on October 2019 after having more than 19 years of experience in the ICT sector. Prior to working for Oman ICT Group, he was the CEO of Oman Broadband Company for about 6 years, managing more than 180 professionals in the IT & Telecommunication sector. He has worked before that for multiple entities in the public and private sector. He was involved in multiple national projects related to the e-government initiatives. In addition to his current full-time job, Said is currently involved in multiple committees and working groups related to ICT strategies, national capacity building, SMEs and digital economy. He is also a member of multiple company’s board of directors and Industry Advisory Boards in different universities and colleges.
Said graduated from Kent University with a Computer Engineering degree in 2000, followed by a one year Executive Management Program from Berkeley University on 2018.
Eng. Khalid Al Busaidi is currently a Colonel in the Royal Army of Oman. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication Engineering from Pakistan, and a bachelor’s degree in Military Studies from the Command and Staff College (2011) in Oman, in addition to Military Sciences diploma from Sultan Qaboos Military College (1992). Eng. Khalid has undertaken various specialised courses including civil and military type of courses and held several leading positions throughout his career, including his current position as an Acting Signal Commander of Sultan Armed Forces.
Colonel Eng. Khalid Al Busaidi has obtained a wide experience in representing Ministry of Defence and Sultan Armed Forces in relevant committees on both national and international levels. Furthermore, he joined and participated in several committees and work teams concerned with planning, development, and expansion of strategic telecommunication projects in the Ministry of Defence.

examination to do 1-year Program on National Leadership and Competitiveness in association with Oxford University. He earned MSc (Environmental Engineering & Projects Management) Leeds University, United Kingdom – 2001 and BSc (Hons) in Civil Engineering in 1994 Sultan Qaboos University, Oman.

Said Al-Aufi is Head of Investments at Mars Development & Investment (MDI), he is responsible for managing a multi-asset class portfolio in the financial services, Fintech, technology and commodities sectors. Before joining MDI, Said worked in the Asset Allocation and Business Strategy team in the State General Reserve Fund (SGRF).
Said has a Double Degree in Commercial Law & Banking and Finance from Monash University in Australia, he is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA). He has also completed several executive management programs in the areas of executive leadership, Blockchain, Cryptocurrency, Fintech, Artifical Intelligence, Internet of Things (IOT) and Venture Capital.
MDI is an investment company that invests in and manages investments in multiple sectors, namely financial services, Fintech, technology with a focus on Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies, and telecommunication both locally and internationally. The ultimate goal is to generate direct and indirect value to the Sultanate of Oman through economic development, knowledge transfer, technological advancement, and socioeconomic development.
Currently, Said is a board member in a number of companies in the financial services, technology, and telecommunications sectors.
Currently, Khalid is the Director General of Information and Awareness division at Ministry of Technology and Communications since May 2012 Previously, during the period of 2008 2012 Khalid was the Country Director for Oman at My Destination/My Guide Network a global Travel Network Company based in UK Also, between 2004 2008 Khalid worked for Oman leading Telecommunications Companies Omantel and Oman mobile as Head of the Corporate Branding and in charge of Corporate Communications VP While being there, Oman Mobile won the best brand in Oman in both 2006 and 2007 Khalid s career started in 1998 at Sultan Qaboos University ( where he got promoted through to become The Director of Public Relations and Information
Khalid completed his high school education from Jaber Bin Zaid school and earned a bachelor's degree from SQU in Physics with minor in Computer Science In 2014 and 2015 he completed two Senior Executive Training Programs through George Washington University and IMD in Switzerland And the other one was in the UK at London Business School Khalid has held variety of roles including being a member of the Oman 2040 Vision Communication Committee, a member of Oman Tourism Strategy 2040 and member at The National Committee of the World Trade Organization
Eng. Salim Al Amri joined to the Ministry of Transport and Communication and Information Technology since graduating from the Collage of Civil Engineering in Sultan Qaboos University in 1995, where he is currently holding the position of the Director General for Roads and Land Transport.
His career path at the Ministry started in 1995 as an engineer in the Maintenance department. In 2003 Salim was appointed as the director of studies and planning, and in 2005, became deputy Director General of Road for Maintenance, to become later deputy Director General for Maintenance and Land Transport in 2008. In 2011, Mr. Al Amri joined Railway technical team responsible for the study of Railway project in Oman, additionally he participated in the technical committee of the GCC responsible for the development of the GCC Railway project.
Focusing on the design and construction of roads, the development of the national railway infrastructure and also the regulation of the land transport sector, Salim was member of several committees at the GCC, related to land transport development and the development of the GCC railway project.
From 1992 to to-date working with Directorate General of Roads, Ministry of Transport and Communications in Roads Projects.
Abdullah had 26 years’ experience in Projects contracts which are executed by the Ministry of Transport and Communications dealing with Contracts and Consultants – Technical and Theoretical aspects.

Reyya Al Toqi is a Senior Associate at the State General Reserve Fund of Oman (“SGRF”). She is currently responsible for private equity fund investments in Global Infrastructure, Asia Private Equity and Global Distressed Assets. During her 8 year tenure at SGRF, she has led and closed 29 fund investments across various regions and strategies.
Furthermore, Ms. Al Toqi holds a seat on the Advisory Board of Trustbridge Partners, a Chinese based private equity firm that focuses on investments in technology, media and healthcare.
From 2015 to 2018, she was also on the Advisory Board of MBK Partners, one of Asia’s largest investors.
Ms. Al Toqi is a CFA Charterholder and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance with Distinction from the Sultan Qaboos University.
